Hot off the heels of the WILLOWZ shoot, this video marks a first for JMM leaving Memphis to shoot with a band and crew he had never met. But thanks to Tob le Rone(lead guitar), Katta Strophe(vocals), Lefty Luv(bass), Uzi Mayer(drums), and Fabi Feuer(rhythm guitar), things went incredibly smooth over the three day shoot!

"I thought "Ganz Neu" (or "Brand New") sounded like a cross between the Bay City Rollers and Steppenwolf!". Locations in Wiesbaden included a schoolroom, an ancient sematary, lumber factory, Tob's garden, Petting Zoo, and the street where Priscilla lived in 1958. Sony BMG will release the song on September 26, 2005.

Special thanks goes to managers Andrea Petricca and Susanna Ott, Mudel, Walter Combi! Thorsten and Sandy from Sony! Pia and Sara who were very nice to me! and last but not least Antje (Tob's mom) who fed us and drove me to the airport.

Watch the video, Ganz Neu (Brand New) Edited by Wheat!

JMM UNVEILED his latest persona in the country where Elvis began using speed and toting a gun. JMM calls him LATE GREAT and dedicates it to the better virtues of segregation and the 'unfinality' of death: Half of the mask features dead black Memphis musicians and the other 'hemis-fear' sports dead white Memphis musicians with a 17 year old Elvis as the third eye. "It is the half-way point of the decade. Super Tupelo and Pop Kop had good runs but you can't be the thin white trash forever."

LATE GREAT made his first appearance in Wiesbaden at a Jewish cemetary directing 200 SACHEN. Onlookers later caused a street accident by watching the masked director and band go about their business. Conceptually LATE GREAT is tired of talking. "It doesn't seem to do any good." LATE GREAT will show up and let the mask do the talking. "Just give me a good old doomsday paperback with a christian ending!" Future appearances may involve laying in a coffin, taking it easy. Upon viewing, voyeurs may touch the 'official corpse of 20th century American Pop Culture' wherever they please.

This LATE GREAT mask is still a work in progress: Concept: JMM/Execution: Graphic hot shot: Charlynn. The wondrous cape (available now in black or white) is designed by Paulaseye@aol.com.

END TIME! LATE GREAT with FABIAN WELLER of 200 SACHEN!

Satan is alive and well but American Pop Culture is dead. Would a third world war bring about a new golden age in American Pop Culture?

Please visit our sister site at www.shapeofkings.com which lays out a plan to preserve old memphis landmarks (and businesses) that were touched by teenage Elvis Presley. This concept is currently unexplored by Graceland and the
City of Memphis. This site exists as an early business plan for investors. This is a money making idea for visionary business people.

POSTSCRIPT NOVEMBER 25, 2006

Shape of Kings was created in Spring, 2006 before the fate of the Zippin Pippin was known. Elvis favorite roller coaster is now being exported to North Carolina; Saved but not kept in Memphis. Meanwhile Pop Tunes is doing great business (according to the store manager) but the signage needs repair - however the Lauderdale Courts has been totally revitalized as "Uptown Square" and the Overton Park Shell is also in very competent hands. However the Hotel Chisca (where Dewey Phillips broadcast Elvis for the first time) needs a facelift and a new marquee. Humes High School needs support from the city - and as we propose; turn it into a music memorial and reinvest in the neighborhood.

Remember, It's too late for the ELLIS AUDITORIUM.
